When we open
One page to start, and what you give us decides how close the figure is.
Your address
You give us: A street address in the Energex area.
You get: A benchmark-based estimate, ranked plans and a savings range.
Your bills
You give us: One to four recent bills, as PDFs or photos.
You get: Your actual usage and current plan, and a point-estimate saving.
Your meter data
You give us: A smart-meter interval file (NEM12 or your retailer's CSV export), with your bill or your address.
You get: Half-hourly modelling, so time-of-use and demand tariffs are priced properly; sent with a bill, your own rates on your own load.

Who can use it?
Households in South East Queensland whose electricity is delivered by Energex: Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay, Redland, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and the surrounding areas. It is the only part of Queensland with retail competition. Regional Queensland is served by Ergon Energy on regulated prices, so there is nothing to compare there yet. Other states are planned later.
Do you get paid by energy retailers?
No. No commissions, referral fees, affiliate links, sponsored placements or data sales, from any retailer, on any plan. Links to retailers in your report are plain links with no tracking. Many comparison services are free because retailers pay them when you switch; you pay us instead, which is the whole reason the service costs money and the reason you can trust the answer.
How much does it cost?
The Quick Scan is free. After that, indicative launch pricing is A$9.99 once for Check My Plan, A$29 a year for Energy Watch or A$49 a year for Always On, GST inclusive. Every paid plan starts with a personalised comparison on your bill; Energy Watch and Always On then keep checking through the year. If you check once and later want us to keep going, add Energy Watch for A$19.01 and the A$9.99 is credited. Final prices are confirmed before launch and wait-list members hear first.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from your report page. No lock-in. Cancel any time from your report page: nothing more is charged, and we keep checking until the end of the year you've paid for. No exit fee, and we remind you 14 days before a yearly renewal. The one-off check never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
